These SMS Notification Terms ("SMS Terms") describe how Xorbia Technologies, Inc., operating as Big Tickets ("BIG TICKETS," "we," "us," or "our"), sends transactional text messages to ticket buyers and event registrants who have opted in to receive them. These SMS Terms are incorporated into and made part of the Big Tickets Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Big Tickets operates a transactional SMS notification program that sends text messages to users who have explicitly opted in at the time of checkout or waitlist registration. Messages are sent by or on behalf of Xorbia Technologies, Inc. (operating as Big Tickets), 2864 Franklin St, Avondale Estates, GA 30002.

This program is limited strictly to transactional notifications. Big Tickets does not send marketing, promotional, or advertising SMS messages through this program. All messages are triggered by a specific user action (such as completing a purchase or joining a waitlist) and relate directly to that action.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to Big Tickets SMS notifications in the following ways:

  • At checkout: By checking the SMS opt-in checkbox during the ticket purchase process and providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS notifications from Big Tickets about your order.
  • At waitlist registration: By checking the SMS opt-in checkbox when joining an event waitlist and providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS updates about your waitlist status from Big Tickets.

Opting in to SMS notifications is voluntary. It is not a condition of purchasing tickets or using the Big Tickets platform. You may complete a ticket purchase or join a waitlist without opting in to SMS notifications.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you consent to receive text messages from Big Tickets at the number provided. Consent is not required as a condition of any purchase.

3. Message Types

Depending on the actions you take on the Big Tickets platform, you may receive one or more of the following transactional message types after opting in:

  • Order confirmation: Sent after a successful ticket purchase to confirm your order details.
  • Ticket delivery: Sent when your tickets are ready and available for access or download.
  • Waitlist status update: Sent when your waitlist position changes or tickets become available for a waitlisted event.
  • Payment alert: Sent if there is an issue processing your payment, such as a declined card or failed transaction requiring attention.

Big Tickets does not send marketing messages, promotional offers, event recommendations, or any other non-transactional content through this SMS program.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity on the Big Tickets platform. You will only receive messages when you have taken a qualifying action (such as completing a purchase or joining a waitlist) that triggers a transactional notification. You will not receive recurring scheduled messages, daily updates, or messages unrelated to your account activity.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to SMS messages you receive from Big Tickets. These charges are assessed by your mobile carrier and are not charged by Big Tickets. Please contact your mobile carrier for information about your messaging plan and any applicable rates.

6. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of Big Tickets SMS notifications at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP: Reply STOP to any Big Tickets text message to immediately unsubscribe from all Big Tickets SMS notifications. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
  • Email: Send an opt-out request to support@bigtickets.com with your mobile phone number and a request to be removed from SMS notifications.
  • Contact support: Call us at 1-888-318-2752 during business hours and a support representative will process your opt-out request.

Opting out will not affect your ability to purchase tickets or use any other feature of the Big Tickets platform. If you opt out and later wish to receive SMS notifications again, you may re-enroll at the time of your next checkout or waitlist registration.

8. Supported Carriers

Big Tickets SMS notifications are delivered via major US wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other carriers. Carrier participation may vary. Big Tickets is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages resulting from carrier network conditions, coverage limitations, or other factors outside Big Tickets' control.

9. Data Privacy and SMS Opt-In Data

Big Tickets collects your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent record solely for the purpose of delivering transactional SMS notifications as described in these SMS Terms. Big Tickets does not sell, share, or transfer your SMS opt-in data or consent records to any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose, except as required by applicable law or as expressly authorized by you.

This restriction applies specifically to text messaging originator opt-in data and consent records. Sharing of opt-in data with third parties for purposes unrelated to the delivery of the SMS notifications described herein is not permitted.

Your mobile phone number and SMS consent records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years from the date of your opt-in or opt-out, in accordance with CTIA guidelines and applicable law. For full details on how Big Tickets handles your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.

10. Organizer SMS Notifications (Separate Program)

At checkout, you may have the option to separately opt in to SMS communications from the event organizer. This opt-in is distinct from the Big Tickets SMS program and constitutes a separate consent to receive messages from the named event organizer directly. Big Tickets facilitates the collection of this consent on the organizer's behalf but is not responsible for the content, frequency, or practices of organizer SMS communications.

When opting in to organizer SMS communications, the organizer's name will be displayed on the opt-in checkbox at checkout. Your phone number will be shared with that specific event organizer solely for the purpose of sending event-related communications. To opt out of organizer SMS messages, reply STOP to any message sent by the organizer.

Order Confirmation:

Big Tickets: Your order is confirmed! 2 tickets to Summer Music Fest on July 12 at Centennial Park. Order #BT-482910. Questions? Reply HELP or visit bigtickets.com. Reply STOP to opt out.

Ticket Delivery:

Big Tickets: Your tickets are ready! Access your tickets for Summer Music Fest at bigtickets.com/tickets. Order #BT-482910. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Waitlist Status Update:

Big Tickets: Good news — tickets are now available for the event you're waitlisted for: Fall Harvest Festival on Oct 5. Log in to complete your purchase at bigtickets.com. Reply STOP to opt out.

Payment Alert:

Big Tickets: We were unable to process your payment for order #BT-483021. Please update your payment info at bigtickets.com to complete your purchase. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

STOP Confirmation:

Big Tickets: You have been unsubscribed from Big Tickets SMS notifications. No further messages will be sent. Contact support@bigtickets.com or call 1-888-318-2752 for assistance.

HELP Response:

Big Tickets: For help with your tickets or order, visit bigtickets.com, email support@bigtickets.com, or call 1-888-318-2752. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply.

12. Changes to These SMS Terms

Big Tickets reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Big Tickets SMS program following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Terms. If you do not agree to updated SMS Terms, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Big Tickets message.

13. Relationship to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

These SMS Terms are part of the Big Tickets Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these SMS Terms and the Terms of Service with respect to SMS messaging, these SMS Terms shall govern. All other rights and obligations are governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
